Give us the grace to find the space where we can love and turn back time … as a songwriter I have wrestled for years to write music that begs the listener to consider that the Love of God is available to all despite what the church and churches have said and done in the name of God … never has this felt so true to me … the seas are troubled. Our hearts are troubled. Fear is rising. Confusion is rampant, but the darkness cannot understand the light. Sing your songs. Paint your pictures. Tend to your gardens. make some warm Soup. Love yourself. And when you figure out how to love yourself well, try loving your neighbor just that same way. Do justice, Love kindness and walk humbly with your God. HUMBLE: adjective

Just keep singing. This show sold out. I think it’s because we are all hungry for space and place to breathe and be and wait for Love to arrive. I was joined by my musical soul sister Sydney Metcalf on cello. I hope to do more of these because ya know? ... there are LOT of words being used Like God and Jesus and American etc ... and I do not recognize Jesus at all in the rhetoric or the agendas of these “Christians”. But even God said that people would say and do things in his name and that he didn’t recognize them either ... yeh that’s in the bible .. and then He recognized people who gave water to the thirsty, food to the hungry, hospitality to the stranger but they had no clue that they were feeding, giving water, or hosting and harboring God ... yep it says that in the Bible, since bible quoting is a things these days.
Hunger and thirst are also often emotional and psychological. Feeling like a refugee or stranger is not always a physical thing. This is what music and concerts are to me at this point in my life. I do love to Rock, don’t get me wrong, but what I or we hope for in a concert is that each heart and person who is there feels a little more love and a little more hope when they go home at the end of the night. We hope to feed and water and hold those present. In community all of us ... all of us hungry thirsty folks who feel like we aren’t allowed to go home. #istandwithukraine

Just keep singing. This show sold out. I think it’s because we are all hungry for space and place to breathe and be and wait for Love to arrive. Power is out so we all light our candles … it’s dark folks so light your candles and shine your little lights whatever they might be

People have a lot to say about God and Jesus these days but I’m not sure that God recognizes them or what they are talking about and even Jesus said that people would say “but I did this and that in your name …” and God will say “Hmmm? but I don’t know you.” this should, if nothing else, be a haunting reminder that we live by faith not certainty and that God said that even those who didn’t think they knew God were surprised to hear that God knew them because they had fed the hungry etc etc “I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me” So ya know, it seems pretty not Christian to run around doing the opposite of these kinds of loving actions and using the name of Jesus and God in vain which means to use that name without love or an understanding that God is love and love is of God … yada yada yada … words … in the beginning was the Word and the word was with God and the word was God … you come to me in words you come to me in sighs you come to me in colours I barely recognize … love mercy do justice and walk HUMBLY with your God … HEARD.

These Beauties remind me that all the mean spirited people in this world cannot take away Creators Love that brought all things into existence and called love the law of the land … sleeping turtles until they thermoregulate and head back into the water … Heard.
